Front Office 

Job Summary

This position will serve as the first point of contact for customers entering the Flyers Training Center. Responsible for assisting with general customer questions and providing assistance with building maintenance. Works on straight forward tasks using established procedures.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with rental skates.
  • Process customer, player, and team payments
  • Clean rental and make sure skate pairs match on the racks.
  • Answer general customer questions.
  • Answer/direct incoming calls.
  • Greet customers as they enter and leave the facility.
  • Open cash register back for the shift.
  • Answer questions pertaining to programming.
  • Close cash register back for the shift/make daily Deposits
  • Assist with daily duties for the Office Manager and General Manager.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Party Host

Job Summary

Responsible for providing excellent customer service and hospitality, as well as meal service, to attendees of home hockey in the private party space. Works on straightforward tasks using established procedures.

Food and Beverage Supervisor

As Food and Beverage Supervisor, responsibilities include: helping train and schedule part time staff, helping cultivate a diverse profitable menu, organizing and cleaning concessions area.

  • Assist Director of Business Operations with day to day operating of concessions for Flyers Training Center. 
  • Continually look for ways to increase sales and improve efficiency  
  • Train part time staff as needed 
  • Assist Director of Business Operations with ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety to handling complaints and queries  
  • Assist Director of Business Operations with cultivating menu, ordering and purchasing inventory/supplies

Will be trained to drive the Zamboni, maintain the facility, and be responsible to close the building if working the evening shift.

  • Replacing cleaning supplies in bathroom and locker rooms

  • Small building repairs as needed

  • Patrol facilities for trash and spills, empties facility trash

Learn to Skate Instructor

Job Summary

Responsible for operation of learn to skate program; including program growth, registration, staffing and teaching. Instructs skating to students and classes. Works on straight forward tasks using established procedures.

Job Summary

  • Creates new business including figure skating club, holiday shows, camps, clinics, competitions.
  • Teach the U.S. Figure Skating curriculum to students and assigned classes in a fun and friendly manner.

Junior Learn to Skate Instructor

Job Summary

This position will assist our Learn to Skate Instructors while developing the skills required to be a lead instructor. Applicants will work directly with our customers during the Learn to Skate program. Applicants must be prepared to engage with students in the program with a friendly and helpful personality.

  • Be compliant with USA Learn to Skate (Training Modules, Background Check, etc.)
