Fundamentals of Checking

Build confidence in contact situations with our Fundamentals of Checking Clinic. Players will develop key skills including puck protection, angling, body positioning, and how to properly deliver a body check.

Lead Instructor

Nate Zweig

Nate Zweig is a former NCAA hockey player and team captain at SUNY Potsdam with four years of junior hockey experience. His coaching background includes time with the Utica Jr. Comets 15U team and Can/Am Hockey Camps. Nate currently works as a Portfolio Manager for Play Hockey and remains actively involved in the development of youth hockey.
